The Kern 1600 impresses with its high degree of flexibility, fast changeover times, and simple operation. It is suited for use in the transactional and direct marketing markets, as well as in lettershops.
The system is manufactured to the quality standards expected from us. The Kern 1600 is compatible with existing Kern systems.
The multi format single sheet input feeds documents for processing by folding or nonfolding applications. The system is factory equipped with a fixed transport unit for 4 or 8 enclosure feeder stations. The stations can be retrofitted in pairs.
The inserting unit can, just like the rest of the system, be quickly and easily converted to a new application. Optional, automatic adjusters support the process. The system is supplied equipped with diverter and shingling conveyor as standard. Additional compartments can be factory supplied as an option.
The system is operated via a touch panel that is customised to the operator. In the event of a fault, the operator is further supported with troubleshooting images. Operation of the enclosure feeder stations is reduced to a minimum. The operating steps required are carried out via modern buttons.
